How to prevent users from registering or cancelling their registration prior to the start time
In the Learning Object Instance details screen, there are options for Registration and Cancellation Cut Off. These settings allow configurations to prevent users from registering or cancelling their registration prior to the start time.
This is useful if for example, you are offering a face-to-face training session and you need to provide equipment or maybe you have a policy where you cancel courses if they don't meet a certain registration threshold.
The checkbox will enable the cutoff setting, and the text fields set the number of hours prior to the start time -- so 24 would be one day before the start of the course.
Warning: Managers can bypass this setting so even if you have set it to not allow cancellations 72 hours before the start, a manager could go in and cancel their employee just before the start.
