Learning Object Instance in an Assignment.

Learning Object Instance

NOTE - This is an advanced setting, and you should be familiar with how assignments work and how to set them up before using this feature. 

The Learning Object Instance field is located in the Assignment. This assignment setup will enroll users into a placeholder classroom instance for a course instance that is flagged as an assignment instance. 

NOTE - The course assignment instance must be setup before the assignment can be setup and run.

This type of assignment can be setup for Individuals, where users are manually added or with specific criteria and filters. 

The assignment should be setup as usually with all the required fields and any optional selections (notifications, reminders, etc.)

It can be setup with a single learning object or multiple learning objects. 

After the Learning Object(s) is added in the assignment, the Learning Object Instance field will display. It only displays for courses that were pre-setup with the Assignment Instance checked.

Select the checkbox in the Learning Object Instance field next to the course assignment instance name.

When the assignment runs, it will enroll the users into the course assignment instance listed in the assignment.
